A new level is now available! Also **all levels have been updated and now support four different difficulty levels.**
This release is definitely a milestone -- we now have six levels, each with four variations: EASY, NORMAL, HARD, and LUNATIC. This solves the problem of a high entry barrier and showcases different approaches to level design. E.g., sometimes the camera is locked on all axes, sometimes just one, and sometimes it changes during gameplay.
v25.07.28 includes everything needed to gather feedback from you. In the settings, we can configure the visual layer (or disable it entirely), god mode is available in the developer menu, and most importantly -- the levels are varied :).
After this release, I plan to (read: probably won't manage to) take a break from development and focus on the community aspect. Visu has satisfied my need for an autistic-recreational side project, so now I need to think about the next step. Quo vadis visu.
The currently available levels were created in parallel with the editor over the past 9 months. If you compare them chronologically, you can see how certain features emerged (this is most visible when comparing the timeline of, for example, kedy_selma - Just To Create Something with pikaro - the memories fade but the feeling remains).
That said, the levels have been continuously updated -- not only when there were API changes, but also whenever I felt their quality had dropped compared to newer features.
